The monthly meetings are held at 10am till 12am on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Torpoint Council Chambers, York Road, Torpoint. All members are welcome and there is no need to book. Prospective members are welcome to come along to see if they like us.
We start off with announcements from the Chair and then we have a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits (please bring £1 for your refreshments), after which there is a guest speaker.

Torpoint u3a Birthday
Back in February 2020, over 100 people crammed into the council chambers for the launch meeting of Torpoint and Rame Peninsula U3A. 102 signed up for membership. Covid then struck but didn’t defeat us. We met using zoom and when we could, we socially distanced ourselves to keep going. The committee even met outside the library in the rain!
Over the last 5 years our numbers have grown and we now have 142 at the last count. It’s been an interesting few years, new friendships forged, new skills learned and old skills renewed.
