The Explorers Group aims to visit places of interest in Devon and Cornwall, such as museums, breweries and historic sites. The Group meets approximately monthly, but the date and time will depend on the availability of the venue.
Recent visits include Port Eliot, Pencarrow House and Gardens; Devonport Naval Heritage Museum, and an exclusive display of birds of prey in Wilcove. The visit to The Story of Emily exhibition at St Cleer was one of the highlights of the year - word got around and, by popular demand, we had a second opportunity for our members to visit as an additional trip in February.
All visits are advertised at the monthly meeting and by email to all members of our u3a, with details of how to book each trip, but if you want to know more, do contact Val by clicking on the Group Leader link above
