The group meets at the Carbeile Inn every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 2-4pm. The group will be discussing all sorts of subjects for example tv, songs, paintings, poetry, prose and many more subjects. Each subject for discussion will be chosen at random the month before to give people time to make their choice and to do a little research. The discussions will not be threatening in any way, there are no right or wrong answers and everybody's opinion is valued and of interest.
Kim from Australia writes:
I go to an adult "show and tell" evening. People are invited to bring an object that means something to them and tell the story behind it. I'm always warmed by how diverse, delightful and generous the sharing and receiving of stories is. I believe the ancient art of storytelling is essential to our humanity, especially now, in the topsy turvy epoch we are living in.

At our first meeting we discussed nursery rhymes that we we remembered and we wondered how many of them are still taught to children these days. We decided that several are probably no longer politically correct!
