We read from a number of different sources: plays found on the national U3A website written by members; radio scripts downloaded from the internet; and playsets from the library. Recently we have read "Second Chance", "Murder in the Pond" and "Fake News" (the real story of Goldilocks and the 3 bears!).
So if you are a frustrated thespian who would like to indulge your passion for theatre, without treading the boards or learning lines, come along and join us - all you need is a sense of humour (and don't forget your reading glasses!). There is a small cost of £2 to cover the hire of the Mayor's Parlour.
